Prize Draw — Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions for the Hōcha founding prize draw — win a year of Hōcha.

1. The promoter

The promoter is HŌCHA ("we", "us"), operating at drinkhocha.com. Contact: zoey@drinkhocha.com.

2. Eligibility

The draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, except employees of HŌCHA and their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the draw.

3. How to enter

No purchase necessary. To enter, submit a valid email address to the Hōcha founding list at drinkhocha.com before the closing date. One entry per person. Entries via agents, third parties, or bulk submissions will not be accepted.

4. Closing date

Entries close at 23:59 (UK time) on 30 September 2026. Entries received after this time will not be counted.

5. The prize

One winner will receive a year of Hōcha: twelve 75g pouches of Madagascan Vanilla Hōjicha Latte Powder, delivered to a UK address in instalments over 12 months from the date of our public launch. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. If the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

6. Winner selection and notification

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries within 14 days of the closing date, and notified by email within 14 days of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to draw an alternative winner.

7. Publicity

With the winner's consent, we may announce their first name and county on our website and social channels. The winner's surname and county will be made available on request to anyone who emails us within one month of the closing date, as required by the CAP Code. Winners may object to this by contacting us.

8. Your data

Entrants' details will be used to administer the draw and, where consent has been given, to email news about the Hōcha launch. Data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe at any time without affecting your entry.

9. General

By entering, you agree to these terms. Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales. This draw is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or associated with any third party, including Instagram, Kickstarter, the BBC Good Food Show or the NEC.
